Dr. Martone has been a board certified psychiatrist since 1980 with added certification in forensic psychiatry since 1998. She is the chief psychiatrist for the Behavior Assessment Unit, a diagnostic clinic for the Criminal Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. She is also an Assistant Professor and the Program Director for the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at UPMC/WPIC. During her forensic career, she has prepared IME's for the Social Security Disability Office and has testified at Social Security Administration appeals hearings. Additionally, she has prepared IME's for insurance companies and has testified at depositions and court hearings involving insurance companies and tort actions. Dr. Martone enjoys an excellent reputation among her peers and has vast experience in assessing for disability and work related capabilities.
