Michael R. Pagnotto, M.D A native of the Pittsburgh region, Dr. Pagnotto is a proud graduate of North Allegheny High School. He then attended Princeton University where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a certificate in Engineering Biology. While at Princeton, Dr. Pagnotto was a two-year captain of the varsity Sprint Football Team, president of the Alpine Ski Team, and president of Athletes in Action Fellowship. He was named to the Academic All-Ivy League Team in sprint football. Dr. Pagnotto earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York City and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He then completed his advanced fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Pagnotto worked with the most advanced techniques in primary and revision hip and knee surgery including: minimally invasive surgery, alternative bearing surfaces, partial knee replacement, and multimodal pain management. He serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Pagnotto is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Michael Pagnotto has been performing IMEs for The Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations, Inc. (CME Network) since 2013. He performs IMEs for all orthopaedic injuries to the knees and hips. (Dr. Pagnotto will not perform IMEs for injuries of the spine.)
