Lieber (PM&R Services Only) DIRECTIONS for your IME Appointment: North of Pittsburgh: Route 8 South to Route 28 North to Highland Park Bridge. Cross bridge, take Washington Boulevard Exit. Merge into right lane. At first traffic light turn left onto Washington Blvd. At this intersection, Washington Boulevard becomes Fifth Avenue. Continue on Fifth Avenue. Turn right onto South Aiken. Turn left onto Centre Ave. At first light turn left into Shadyside Hospital parking and enter the building on left (west wing). Route 19 South or I-279 South to Route 28 North. Route 28 North to the 40th Street Bridge. Cross bridge and continue up 40th Street to Liberty Avenue, turn left onto Liberty Avenue and continue to Centre Avenue, turn right onto Centre Ave. At first light turn left into Shadyside Hospital parking and enter the building on left (west wing). South of Pittsburgh: Route 51 North or Route 19 North through Liberty Tunnels and cross Liberty Bridge, drive under the overpass and stay in far right lane at fork in road toward 579. Take Bigelow Boulevard exit. Continue on Bigelow Boulevard to Centre Avenue, turn left onto Centre Avenue and continue. Turn right into Shadyside Hospital parking and enter the building on left (west wing). Parkway West to Route 51 South Exit. Take Route 51 to Liberty Tunnels and proceed with directions above, starting with the Liberty Tunnels. East of Pittsburgh: Parkway East to Wilkinsburg Exit. Turn left onto Penn Avenue, continue on Penn Avenue for approximately 3 miles. At the intersection of Penn and Fifth Avenues, turn left onto Fifth Avenue. Continue on Fifth Avenue to South Aiken. Turn right onto South Aiken Avenue. Turn left onto Centre Ave. At first light turn left into Shadyside Hospital parking and enter the building on left (west wing). West of Pittsburgh: Parkway West or I-279 through Fort Pitt Tunnels and cross Fort Pitt Bridge. Parkway becomes I-376. Use lanes for Monroeville (east). Continue on Parkway to Forbes Avenue/Oakland Exit. Continue on Forbes Avenue through Oakland and turn left at North Craig Street (Carnegie Museum of Art). Turn right onto Fifth Avenue, continue on Fifth Avenue to South Aiken Avenue. Turn left onto South Aiken Avenue. Turn left onto Centre Ave. At first light turn left into Shadyside Hospital parking and enter the building on left (west wing).
